Uridium Advance: The Unreleased Game Boy Advance Version of a Commodore 64 Classic
Uridium began on the Commodore 64: written by Andrew Braybrook and published by Hewson in 1986, it had you flying a nimble ship, the Manta, low over the hulls of enormous Dreadnoughts, shooting down fighters and dodging obstacles. This cartridge carries something rarer: Uridium Advance, an unreleased Game Boy Advance version that was preserved as a prototype.

The story of the prototype
- It started as a solo game: an updated version of the Commodore 64 shooter for the Game Boy Advance.
- It was later combined with a similar project, Paradroid, into a 2-in-1 game.
- The archive release collects the source code and several builds: one with Paradroid only, two with Uridium Advance only and one 2-in-1. It also includes lotcheck documents, an in-game password list for Uridium Advance, screenshots and music documents.
- Some assets, such as the sound and movie folders, are missing from the source drop.
Also available
The other half of this project, Paradroid, is available as its own cartridge.
