Zook Hero is a Mega Man-style action-platformer series developed by the Taiwanese unlicensed publisher Vast Fame for the Game Boy Color. This English reproduction set collects the entries in the series.
Story: Zook is a policeman protecting a city when Doctor Mitt unleashes his evil army of robots to take over the world. Zook tries to stop them but is gravely wounded; with his life at risk, Dr. Meki rebuilds him as a robotic hero so he can continue the fight to protect the peace. In Zook Hero 2, the rebuilt Zook gains advanced robotics from Dr. Meki, boasting greater strength and agility as he faces Doctor Mitt's relentless robot army and a colossal mech named Doomraider.
Gameplay: Run, jump and shoot your way through robot-filled stages, defeating bosses and gaining new powers in the classic blue-bomber tradition. Includes Zook Hero Z, Zook Hero 2 and Zook Hero 3.
