Star Heritage is a Game Boy Color quest/adventure game based on a popular ZX-Spectrum Russian title of the genre, created by Juriy Matveev. The game was originally intended for commercial release and sought a publisher, but the team later shifted focus to GBA and released it for free. It features a non-linear storyline and more than 100 locations with hi-color graphics.
Story: The player becomes a secret agent of the Earthen Resistance who, after an unexpected accident, is thrown into the world of the distant future, where high technology coexists with partisan wars and post-industrial decay.
Gameplay: Stranded alone on an unknown planet near the centre of an invasion by brutal enemies who have already destroyed and conquered the Earthen Federation, the player moves from location to location, explores the world, uses objects and tools, and talks to inhabitants in order to survive and return to the Federation's base. As you discover this hostile world you accumulate experience and gain knowledge that may turn your goal into something far more important.
This is a fan-made reproduction cartridge of an unreleased / cancelled Game Boy Color title that was never officially published.
