Star Beasts is a homebrew monster-catching RPG and a tribute to the first generation of Pokemon games. It began as a fan project to make a playable version of Vast Fame's bootleg Shi Kong Xing Shou, and grew into its own full game featuring 150 completely original "fakemon" designs.
Story / Gameplay: Explore a brand-new world filled with creatures to discover and tame, in the classic catch, train and battle formula. This Meteor Version offers thoroughly reworked movesets, added Steel and Dark types, new trainers, rewritten dialogue and rebalanced gameplay, plus NPCs who give hints about where to find rare Star Beasts.
This is a homebrew reproduction cartridge presented in Game Boy Color packaging. The in-game text is available in English, with this edition also offered with Spanish box presentation.
