Pokemon Pink Version is an alternative fan-game based on Pokemon Red, Blue and Yellow, playable in English.
Story: The project draws on a fascinating real-world story. The leaked source code for Pokemon Yellow revealed traces of another Kanto title, "Pokemon Pink," that Nintendo never announced or released. This fan-game reimagines that lost version.
Gameplay and features:
- New protagonist: Kris from Pokemon Crystal.
- Three new types added from later generations: Dark, Steel and Fairy.
- Type chart updated to match post-6th Generation parameters.
- New starters: Jigglypuff, Pikachu and Vulpix.
- The Unknown Dungeon has been updated to be identical to Pokemon Yellow's.
- External tilesets and palettes updated to match Pokemon Yellow.
- Bug fixes: Focus Energy is no longer broken, and the Safari Zone warp exploit that triggered Glitch City has been removed.
- Full Game Boy Color colorization for an enhanced experience and improved Pokemon designs.
This is a homebrew fan-game reproduction cartridge in English.
