Pokémon Blue Kaizo is a fan-made romhack of Pokémon Blue for the Game Boy, redesigned to push your skills to the limit. This is the ultimate Pokémon challenge: a far more difficult version of the classic, rebuilt for a Kaizo-level test of strategy and endurance.
Story / Gameplay:
- All 151 Pokémon are obtainable.
- Redesigned routes, dungeons, and trainers for a Kaizo-level challenge.
- Tougher battles: trainers, gym leaders, and the Elite Four use full teams.
- Wild Pokémon levels are balanced to match trainer battles.
- Cheaper and better item selection, including Master Balls and Rare Candies at Indigo Plateau.
- Trade evolutions evolve by level-up, and ethers are more affordable.
- No revives or max revives in battle: pure skill determines victory.
- Legendary and rare powerful Pokémon can be caught in the Unknown Dungeon.
Final challenge: the Elite Four is the hardest part of the game. You will need to reach level 100 to stand a chance.
