Magical Chase is a horizontally scrolling shoot 'em up developed by Quest, originally released on the PC Engine / TurboGrafx-16. It was created by much of the same team at Quest that would later work on Ogre Battle and Final Fantasy Tactics. First released in Japan in 1991 during Palsoft's closure, it had a very low print run before being re-released by mail order via the magazine PC Engine Fan, and was graphically altered for its late 1993 North American TurboGrafx-16 release. The game was ported to the Game Boy Color in 2000 but only released in Japan.
This cartridge is an English fan-translation of the Japanese Game Boy Color version, letting you play the shooter in English on original hardware.
