Doomsayer - A Hero's Crusade (Little Master: Raikuban no Densetsu) is a Tactical RPG developed by Zener Works and published by Tokuma Shoten, originally released in Japan in 1991. This reproduction cartridge carries the complete English fan-translation produced by the Zatos team.
It is the first entry in a trilogy: two titles on the original Game Boy and a third (and superb) installment on the Super Famicom, all of which remained exclusive to Japan. Only this first part has been translated to English.
Story: Half a year ago the evil Demon King Gezagain mysteriously vanished. Now the hero Richban must take up the call once more, protecting his village and leading his comrades across the battlefield.
Gameplay: A grid-based strategy/Tactical RPG that is approachable enough for newcomers yet satisfying for genre veterans. You command a party of units across scenario maps, taking turns to move, position and battle enemy forces. A rare example of the Tactical RPG genre on the original Game Boy.
