Super Chess Master is a graphical reskin of The Chessmaster for the Game Boy that swaps the generic chess pieces for Super Mario themed characters, including Mario, Peach, Bowser, Bowsette and more. The title screen's Chess Master graphics are replaced with Bowser. Gameplay: a full game of chess powered by the classic Chessmaster engine, offering single-player matches against a computer opponent across multiple difficulty levels, with standard chess rules and a Mario-themed makeover for every piece on the board. This is a homebrew/reproduction cartridge based on a fan-made patch of the English Game Boy release of The Chessmaster.
