Pokemon Green Version is the legendary first-generation Pokemon RPG, originally released in Japan and brought to Western players here as a fan-translated reproduction available in both English and Spanish.
Story: You begin as a young trainer in the Kanto region, setting out from Pallet Town with one goal in mind, to become the greatest Pokemon Master of all time. Catch and train wild Pokemon, build your team, and challenge the eight Gym Leaders before facing the Elite Four and your long-time rival.
Gameplay: Explore towns, routes and caves, capture and evolve over 150 Pokemon, and battle other trainers in classic turn-based combat. Trade with friends and complete your Pokedex to truly "catch 'em all". Green Version features its own selection of wild Pokemon, encouraging trading to fill the entire roster.
This is a homebrew reproduction cartridge running on original Game Boy hardware and is also fully playable on Game Boy Color.
