G-Zero World GP is a homebrew high-speed futuristic racing game for the Game Boy Color, inspired by the classic F-Zero anti-gravity racers.
Story / Setting: Pilot a fleet of hover-machines through a championship grand prix set across stylised cities of a near-future world.
Gameplay: Race your anti-gravity craft around twisting tracks rendered with a pseudo-3D scaling road, dodging rivals and managing speed and power. Before each event you choose your machine (each with its own engine, top speed and weight stats), pick a class (Beginner, Standard or Expert) and compete for Bronze, Silver and Gold cups. An on-screen HUD tracks time, speed, power and your rank against the field.
This is an original homebrew title (2024, 7FH) playable entirely in English.
